{"id":1020,"date":"2025-07-07T18:30:26","date_gmt":"2025-07-07T21:30:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/maritimehomeopaths.org\/new\/?page_id=1020"},"modified":"2025-09-27T22:10:30","modified_gmt":"2025-09-28T01:10:30","slug":"quality-assurance-program","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/maritimehomeopaths.org\/new\/about-msh\/quality-assurance-program\/","title":{"rendered":"Quality Assurance Program"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The QA Program helps members keep their knowledge and skills up to date so they can provide safe, high-quality care to clients.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Each year, members verify that they have read and understand and are in compliance with the <em>MSH Code of Ethics<\/em>, and <em>Standards of Practice<\/em>, and Continuing Education Requirements cited below.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Continuing Education<\/b><b><br \/>\n<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Members complete at least <\/span><b>15 hrs\/yr<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> of continuing education.\u00a0 This can be averaged over a 3 year period (45hrs\/3yrs).\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Learning activities can include:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Courses, workshops, webinars, online classes with a certificate 1hr education = 1 CEU\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Courses, workshops, webinars, online classes without a certificate 2hr = 1 CEU<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Reading\/writing professional materials<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> 2hr = 1 CEU<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Discussions with colleagues 2hr = 1 CEU<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Teaching; conducting a workshop, webinar, online1hr = 1 CEU<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Mentoring \/ being mentored 1hr = 1 CEU<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Professional meetings, such as the MSH Membership meetings 1hr = 1 CEU<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">50% of credits need to be directly related to Homeopathy.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">50% of credits need to be those with a certificate.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Members are asked each year to submit a list of Continuing Education training as part of their member renewal process.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Find out more:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/maritimehomeopaths.org\/new\/about-msh\/code-of-ethics-standards-of-practice\/\" data-type=\"page\" data-id=\"1090\">Code of Ethics &amp; Standards for Practice for members<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The QA Program helps members keep their knowledge and skills up to date so they can provide safe, high-quality care to clients.\u00a0 Each year, members verify that they have read and understand and are in compliance with the MSH Code of Ethics, and Standards of Practice, and Continuing Education Requirements cited below.
