The QA Program helps members keep their knowledge and skills up to date so they can provide safe, high-quality care to clients.
Each year, members verify that they have read and understand and are in compliance with the MSH Code of Ethics, and Standards of Practice, and Continuing Education Requirements cited below.
Continuing Education
Members complete at least 15 hrs/yr of continuing education. This can be averaged over a 3 year period (45hrs/3yrs).
Learning activities can include:
- Courses, workshops, webinars, online classes with a certificate 1hr education = 1 CEU
- Courses, workshops, webinars, online classes without a certificate 2hr = 1 CEU
- Reading/writing professional materials 2hr = 1 CEU
- Discussions with colleagues 2hr = 1 CEU
- Teaching; conducting a workshop, webinar, online1hr = 1 CEU
- Mentoring / being mentored 1hr = 1 CEU
- Professional meetings, such as the MSH Membership meetings 1hr = 1 CEU
50% of credits need to be directly related to Homeopathy.
50% of credits need to be those with a certificate.
Members are asked each year to submit a list of Continuing Education training as part of their member renewal process.
