Homeopathy is a system of science that believes the body can heal itself. It takes a holistic approach to medicine, where rather than palliating the physical symptoms, it helps find the root cause of a disease and intends to cure the disease permanently by using natural substances like plants and minerals to stimulate the healing process.
My fascination in Homeopathy started when I was a child. I grew up in a village in Kerala, India, where homeopathic practitioners were strongly relied upon and had amazing success rates in curing diseases. My family also fervently believed in the science of homeopathy and thus it was no surprise that I decided to follow my passion and pursue a career in homeopathy by enrolling in the Bachelor of Homeopathy Medicine and Surgery Program. This was a four and a half years course followed by a one-year internship with postings in the Gynecology, Materia Medica, Repertory, Organon, Surgery, Medicine and Dermatology departments. These postings helped me obtain exposure to a variety of cases and its treatment methods.
I started my career as a Homeopath at an Infertility Centre in Chennai where I treated cases of male and female reproductive disorders including irregular menses, thyroid disorders and male impotency, to name a few. Later in my career, I practiced at Aditya Homeopathic Hospital in Pune, India where I was privileged to be mentored by Dr. Amarsinha Nikham,
who in my opinion, is one of the leading experts in the field of Homeopathy. During this time, I had a chance to work on a wide variety of cases from cancer to renal failure. Even as my practice evolves in pace and location, I carry with me the lessons I learned from my mentor and continue to implement his ideologies and methods of treatment in my practice.
Over the years, I have treated a wide variety of acute and chronic cases including Allergic Rhinitis, Digestive Disorders, Reproductive Disorders, Thyroid Disorders, Migraine, Arthritis, Hair Loss, Allergies, Mental Health, Skin Ailments, Sleep Apnea and so on. My aim is to reduce the patient’s suffering and restore their health without any side effects.
In 2017, I moved to New Brunswick, Canada; I believe that becoming a registered homeopath here in New Brunswick is my calling as it provides me with an opportunity to make a positive impact. I have always thrived on using my knowledge and practice to achieve the best possible outcome for my patients and I truly believe there is nothing more rewarding or satisfying than helping patients find relief from their disease.
